Willard M. Bush, Sr., 73, of 533 Center Street and formerly of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Penn Highlands DuBois. He was born December 10, 1952, in East Stroudsburg, son of the late William and Mary Cruver Bush. On November 12, 1970, in Stroudsburg, Will married Linda Counterman, who survives. State police investigated a two-vehicle accident on Bennetts Valley Highway in Jay Township. Police report a vehicle was traveling south on Route 255 in Jay Township and failed to maintain its lane of travel subsequently traveled into the Northbound Lane. To avoid the collision, another vehicle, driven by Bryan Spoores of Weedville, swerved off the road and struck a telephone pole. The first driver left the scene.

Fay E. Lunger, 73, of St. Marys, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born on May 20, 1953 in Ridgway, PA, a daughter of the late Charles and E. Louise Eynon Wolff. On May 4, 1974, she married Mark Lunger, who survives of St. Marys. State police reported conducting a traffic stop on Irishtown Road. After investigation, the operator, Hayden Shadduck, 19, of Weedville, was found to be operating the vehicle while impaired. Charges were filed.
