A Hopkinsville woman has been charged following a pursuit that began on Clinic Drive in Hopkinsville Tuesday and ended on Mechanic Street.  According to the Hopkinsville Police Department report, officers responded to the Walmart Supercenter on Clinic Drive around 12:45 p.m. for reports of an alleged shoplifter who had fled the store. The 2026 season resumes tonight for the Hoptown Hoppers, who have been off for the last two nights.  Hoptown, which has not played a full game since Friday night due to weather and scheduled off days, is scheduled to play the Paducah Chiefs at 6:30 p.m. today at Brooks Stadium.  The Hoppers enter tonight’s game 19-7 and trailing Henderson by a half-game in the OVL standings.
