Crawfordsville Pride is currently seeking sponsors and donations for this year's Pride Festival. Held annually since 2024, the festival celebrates the LGBTQ+ community through vendors, music, and inclusivity. Currently, no date has been set for 2026. The goal for this year is $5,000. A Crawfordsville man was killed following a fatal car crash Monday morning. According to a press release from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, emergency personnel were dispatched to U.S. 231 S. and Spring Road in Parkersburg at around 6:30 a.m. to a report of a collision involving a 2024 tri-axle dump truck and a 2026 GMC Sierra. Indiana Gov. Mike Braun and representatives of INDOT stopped by the Montgomery County Government Center Tuesday morning to award a portion of this fiscal year's Community Crossings grant money to communities in west central Indiana. The Community Crossings program, which started in 2016, awards Indiana cities, towns, and counties grant money to help fund road infrastructure and maintenance projects. Montgomery County received $1 million, and the City of Crawfordsville received $213,702.50.

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced a bridge closure that will impact State Road 32 in Yountsville. Work is expected to begin on or after Monday, July 6.According to its statement, INDOT contractors will close the S.R. 32 bridge over Mill Creek, which is located near County Road 400 W.
