LOWER WISCONSIN RIVER - The Annual Meeting of Friends of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway (FLOW) was held last Saturday at the Wintergreen Resort in rural Spring Green. The event featured an interesting line up of speakers on land preservation, Riverway history, the 765 kV transmission line, mussels rescue, and commemoration of the 200th Anniversary of the Blackhawk War and the Battle of Wisconsin Heights. The meeting was followed by a paddle on the Wisconsin River.
