HAMLET — Two air quality permits have been issued to Amazon Data Services and Duke Energy Progress for operations associated with the data center under construction at the Energy Way Industrial Park on Airport Road, according to an Aug. 28 press release from the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Air Quality.
