Four people have been arrested in connection with an alleged theft ring spanning Columbus, Robeson and Bladen counties, according to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation led to a search warrant being executed on Peacock Road in Chadbourn. Authorities said approximately $100,000 worth of stolen property was recovered during the search and returned to the victims.

An 18-year-old Chadbourn man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say he possessed a firearm and marijuana on the campus of Southeastern Community College.
