The Clinton Dark Horses (1-0) protected their home turf in their junior varsity football matchup against the Midway Raiders (1-1), winning 34-0 Wednesday evening. The game was originally scheduled for Thursday, but was moved up due to inclement weather conditions.

What began as a defensive battle between two young teams turned into a wild finish Thursday night, as Midway and Hobbton needed every second on the clock before the Raiders escaped with an 18-14 victory.
