A local Virginia official says an adult was wounded in a shooting at an elementary school. Waynesboro city council member Jim Wood confirmed no children were injured in Wednesday morning's shooting at Westwood Hills Elementary School. He said the shooting was an isolated incident and the shooter is no longer a threat. The adult victim was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
