The Mission BBQ at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City is coming up on Tuesday, August 25th from 5:30-to-7:30 p.m. There will be a meal, along with meat and basket raffles and all of the proceeds will be donated to the Grove City Area CARE program. 89-year-old DAVID H. GRIMSGARD of Grove City passed away at his home on August 18, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on August 29 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.   Burial will be held in Immanual Lutheran Cemetery in Grove City. A contest was held during the Windmill Days parade in Grove City Saturday evening for best float. The CARE program’s America 250 float came in first place. The Grove City Lions Club’s float came in second place and the Meeker County American Dairy Association princess float took 3rd place.
