Friday's outdoor volleyball match between Kasson-Mantorville and Triton was paused due to condensation on the court. It resumed inside and the KoMets made history, winning in four sets.

Kasson-Mantorville hosted Triton in the first-ever sanctioned high school outdoor volleyball match in the state on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, in Kasson.

The match at KMTelecom Stadium is believed to be the first MSHSL-sanctioned varsity volleyball match held outdoors.
