Jerry “Bud” Lee Rider, formerly of Coffeyville, Kansas, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 83 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at Stonehaven Assisted Living and Memory Care, where he had resided for the last couple of years. Jerry was born to Tyner Lee and Geraldine Leuretta (McMullin) Rider in Mayes County, Oklahoma, at the family home in the rural Chelsea area.

Her brother Gary Gump offers the following comment: Sad news and fond memories for all of us who knew my sister, Karen (Gump) Johnston. She passed away Wednesday evening, July 29, 2026 in Lampasas, Texas. Though Karen and I were four years apart (FKHS ‘58 for me,  FKHS ’62 for Karen) and spent most of our adult lives living separately, she was a very special person.

Roger Casurole, 83, passed away at his home in Coffeyville, KS, August 1, 2026. Roger was born in Cardale, PA, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Narchus) Casurole February 9, 1943. He grew up in Pennsylvania. Roger moved to Coffeyville to play football from 1961-1962 for the Red Ravens. Roger went back to Pennsylvania and worked for the Robena Coalmine.
