(WOWO) — A mother will spend 180 days in jail after pleading guilty to felony neglect of a dependent in connection with the death of her 7-day-old son, who was mauled by a family dog. Violet Weaver was sentenced after taking a plea deal. She will also serve 185 days of probation following her jail sentence. The infant, Jason A. A local Indiana bakery is expanding its reach with a new Fort Wayne location. The Bread Guy Bakery will begin selling its locally made goods at Swizzle Market on Illinois Road starting November 3. Customers can find bagels, sourdough, focaccia and pretzels Tuesday through Saturday. The bakery, based in Markle, will continue selling products at its other locations as well. HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) — The northbound I-69 exit ramp at mile marker 286 near Markle is closed due to a water-based adhesive spill. Indiana Spill Response, Huntington County Emergency Management Agency, Markle Fire and Markle Police are on scene, with mitigation efforts underway.
