Aug. 18 voting will decide if the voices of Fernandina Beach citizens will be considered before future paid parking plans are implemented within the city.
Members report boats were lifted out of marinas in Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, Fernandina Beach and St. Augustine this week.
“We’re hoping that the City Commission will actually listen to the voters this time,” Roger Martin, realtor and resident said. “We begged them to do it before.”
