What started as a response to a house fire in Maywood led to the discovery of three people, including a child, all dead of gunshot wounds inside the burning home. Firefighters were called to a home near the intersection of East 61st Street and Alamo Avenue sometime around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. There, they were given notice that there may be people in the burning home, so crews began to search. Upon searching through the house, firefighters found three people – a man, a woman and
