9/3 Navajo Police took an alleged DUI driver off the road, just before noon Wednesday. Officials say the stop occurred in Tuba City. The female driver was showing signs of being under the influence at which time the vehicle was searched. The deputy located alcohol and marijuana in the vehicle. The woman, whose name was not released, was arrested for possession of alcohol and possession of marijuana and was booked into the Tuba City Jail.

8/27 The Coconino County School Superintendent’s Office is taking letters of interest and resumes for 5-vacant school board seats that remain unfilled following this year’s election cycle. The seats hold terms that run through the end of 2028. There’s a single seat available on Grand Canyon, Chevelon Butte, Fredonia-Moccasin, Tuba City and NATIVE Unified School Districts. Applications will be taken until all the seats are filled. Applications are available online at: coconino.az.gov/2855

8/10 Navajo Police listed 15-year-old Tony Ranger as a missing and endangered person Sunday night. The teen was last seen on Saturday, in Tuba City. He has “Tony” tattooed on his right forearm. If you have information on his whereabouts, call Navajo Police. A photo of Ranger was not available.

8/07 Navajo Police thank the public for helping them locate a stolen vehicle. On the afternoon of August 3-rd, a 2013 Buick Lacrosse Sedan was stolen from the Post Office parking lot in Tuba City. An attempt to locate was issued and a resident spotted the vehicle Thursday. Officials say the vehicle was recovered and one arrest was made. A suspect name was not released.
