11/6 The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office made an arrest following an animal cruelty investigation. Officials say on November 1-st, they responded to a property on Grippen Road following reports of several dead and injured horses on the property. The living horses were trapped as flood waters were rising. Numerous people offered to help move the horses to higher ground, but the owner refused the help and left the horses in their pens, which were filling with water. In the end, 4-horses were rescued

11/6 Wednesday, Governor Katie Hobbs sent Director of Cabinet Affairs Larry Sandigo and ADOT Director Jennifer Toth, to Highway-89A in Oak Creek Canyon to gather an assessment of the damages caused by last weekend’s flooding. The highway remains closed between Sedona and Flagstaff until further notice. Several parts of the roadway were either covered in boulders and debris or compromised. ADOT crews are already in the canyon working on repairs.
